I was having issues using RDP to access the box with my Azure AD credentials (username@tenant.onmicrosoft.com). I kept getting the following when trying to connect:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"858\" src=\"https:\/\/itblog.ldlnet.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-1024x858.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-816\" srcset=\"https:\/\/itblog.ldlnet.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-1024x858.png 1024w, https:\/\/itblog.ldlnet.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-300x251.png 300w, https:\/\/itblog.ldlnet.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-768x644.png 768w, https:\/\/itblog.ldlnet.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image.png 1354w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>Azure AD Credentials would not work to RDP to the client.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>So I started researching and found that this was an common issue that many have started to face with their Azure AD Joined machines. Unfortunately, at this time it isn\u2019t quite as easy as \u201copen up a new RDP connection, type in the computer, type my email, and connect\u201d.\u00a0 Here are the steps to connect a session to that Azure AD joined computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Steps to connect RDP to an Azure AD joined computer.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>First, open remote desktop as if you were going to connect to any other computer. Type in the <em>computer name<\/em> or <em>IP address<\/em> and expand the the\u00a0<em>Show Options<\/em>\u00a0section. Next, click the\u00a0<strong>Save As<\/strong>\u00a0button to save the RDP file to your computer. At this point you can close the Remote Desktop Connection window as it isn\u2019t needed any longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"953\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/itblog.ldlnet.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-1-953x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-817\" srcset=\"https:\/\/itblog.ldlnet.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-1-953x1024.png 953w, https:\/\/itblog.ldlnet.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-1-279x300.png 279w, https:\/\/itblog.ldlnet.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-1-768x826.png 768w, https:\/\/itblog.ldlnet.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-1.png 1242w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 953px) 100vw, 953px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, open Notepad.
